Indexed Universal Life

Build tax‑advantaged savings while protecting the people you love.

What is an IUL?

An indexed universal life policy combines permanent life insurance with a cash value account that can grow based on the performance of a stock market index. Your premium pays for insurance protection and builds cash value; the cash value earns interest tied to index movements, subject to caps and floors. You will never be credited with negative interest when the market declines.

Uses for IUL

IUL policies can be used to:

Loans and withdrawals reduce cash value and death benefit and may have tax consequences if the policy is not properly managed. We work with you to design a policy that fits your goals and budget.

Key considerations

IULs are long‑term contracts and not suitable for everyone. Performance is tied to index crediting strategies with participation rates, caps or spreads. It is important to understand policy costs and to fund the policy adequately to maintain the desired benefits. We provide clear illustrations and educational guidance so you know what to expect.
